Day 1 LAX / Kunming
Depart LAX for China at 1150PM by Chins Southern Airlines nonstop flight (Boeing 777). Cross the Int'l dateline.
Day 2 En Route to China
On the way to China.
Day 3 Guilin (D)
Arrive in Guangzhou at 620AM. After clearing the China immigration and customs, connect China Southern flight for Guilin at 910AM. Arrive in Guilin at 1010AM. Upon arrival, local CITS meet / transfer to Waterfalls Hotel Guilin (5-star) for 2 nights with daily breakfast. This afternoon enjoy an orientation tour of the city, and visit to Reed Flute Cave and elephant Trunk Hill.
Day 4 Guilin (B, L)
Few could fail to be enraptured by the beauty of the Li River, with its delicate karst formations, beautiful rural scenery, and lush green hillsides with bizarre rock formations and caves. Centuries of poets and artists have immortalized the very scenes you'll savor on a full-day air-conditioned cruise along this unique and tranquil waterway. Upon arrival in Yangshuo at end of this cruise, take a short tour in Yangshuo. Then return to Guilin later today by private coach and back to your hotel.
Day 5 Guilin / Kunming (B, L)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Kunming. Upon arrival, local CITS meet / transfer to Bank Hotel Kunming (5-star centrally located) for 2 nights with daily buffet breakfast. Balance of the day at your leisure to explore this City of Ever-lasting Spring.
Day 6 Kunming (B, L)
Full-day tour to the famed Stone Forest and minority village en route. Enjoy an exciting day in the mysterious Stone Forest, a typical karst topography. Taste the well-known tea of Yunnan. Return to Kunming later today and back to your hotel.
Day 7 Kunming / Dali (B, L)
Transfer to airport for your flight Kunming / Dali. Upon arrival, meet / transfer to Asia Star Hotel Dali (5-star) for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon tour in Dali, known for its minority groups living there with their unique culture, customs, music and life.
Day 8 Dali (B, L)
Full-day tour: Three Pagodas, Er Hai Lake, Old Town and local minority villages with other sights..
Day 9 Dali / Lijiang (B, L)
After breakfast, depart Dali for LiJiang by private coach / guide for the 3-hour drive, with stops on the way. Upon arrival, check into Grand Hotel LiJiang for 2 nights with daily breakfast. Afternoon city tour: visit Black-Dragon Pool, Ancient Dayan Town. This evening enjoy a minority show.
Day 10 LiJiang (B, L)
Full-day tour to visit Dragon Spruce Meadow or Yak Meadow, Snow-capped Yulong Mountain, the Gan Sea, Baishui River, Jade Peak Temple and Baisha Fresco.
Day 11 LiJiang / Guangzhou (B)
Morning at your leisure in LiJiang to walk around this beautiful town.
Transfer to airport for your afternoon flight Lijiang - Guangzhou, 430PM - 720PM. Upon arrival, meet / transfer to White Swan Hotel Guangzhou for one night with breakfast. Balance of the day free.
Day 12 Guangzhou - LAX (B)
Morning at your leisure. Transfer to airport in the afternoon. Depart Guangzhou LAX by China Southern Airlines non-stop flight back to Los Angeles at 900PM. Arrive in LAX at 650PM (local time). End of this memorable Southwest China journey!
