Day 01 Lhasa (HD)
Arrive in Lhasa, city of sun on the roof of the world. Upon arrival, local tour guide meet / transfer to Four Point Hotel Lhasa for 3 nights with daily breakfast. Balance of the day at leisure to adjust yourself to being on the world's highest Plateau, about 12,000 ft. Hotel dinner tonight.

Day 02 Lhasa (B L D)
Full-day tour in Lhasa: visit the spectacular ensembles of religious architectures, the Potala Palace-former living quarters of Dalai Lama, is a massive 1000-room-structure towering over this mountain city. Also visit the Tibet's holiest shrine Jokhang Temple , which contains Buddhism's most sacred treasures and where pilgrims come to prostrate themselves before this old golden Buddha, plus the Bharkor bazaar which is a real treasure hunting for shopping lovers.

Day 03 Lhasa (B, L, D)
Full-day sightseeing / tour: Norbulingka - the former summer palace of Dalai Lama. Also visit local Tibetan family and Tibetan hospital.

Day 04 Lhasa / Shigatse (B, Boxed Lunch, HD)
Check out and depart Lhasa for Shitatse by private coach, with stopping at Yamdruktso Lake en route. Upon arrival in Shigatse, check into the Shigatse Hotel. Boxed lunch & hotel dinner today. Coach ride today at distance of 360km (230 miles).

Day 05 Shigatse / Tingi (B, L, D)
Morning visit to Tashilunpo Monastery and have lunch in Shigatse. Then depart Shigatse by coach transfer to Tingri which takes about 5 hours with picture-taking stops en route (250 km or 156 miles). Upon arrival, check into the Tingri Everest Hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 06 Tingri / Mt Everest Base / Tingri (B, Boxed Lunch, D)
Set out and depart for Mt. Everest Base Camp with boxed lunch. About 5 hours' coach ride for this excursion and the round-trip mileage is 220km (or 137 miles) on unpaved road. Boxed lunch en route. Visit the Rongbu Monastery and then drive back to Tingri. Return to Tingri Everest Hotel tonight.

Day 07 Tingri / Shigatse (B, Boxed Lunch, HD)
Check out and depart for Shigatse with your guide by coach. Visit Sakya Monastery on the way. Today's journey takes over 6 hours covering 310km (or 195 miles). Check into Shigatse Hotel again. Hotel dinner and boxed lunch for the day.

Day 08 Shigatse / Lhasa (B, L, HD)
Check out and return to Lhasa with your guide bycoach. Upon arrival back to Lhasa, check into Four Points by Sheraton Lhasa. Hotel dinner tonight. Today's journey covers about 280 km (or 174 miles) and 6 hours en route because of speed limt on the highway.

Day 09 Depart Lhasa (B)
Check out and your guide to transfer you to Lhasa Airport. Depart Lhasa by flight.
Bid farewell to Tibet and end of this memorable experience.
