Day 01 Arrive Shanghai (D)
Arrive in Shanghai, the largest metropolitan city where the Yangtze River flows into East China Sea. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to BROADWAY MANSIONS HOTEL SHANGHAI (at the Bund). Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 02 Shanghai (B, L, D)
Full-day sightseeing. The sights and contrasts of China's most vibrant city fill your day. Stroll the riverfront Bund with its European-style buildings; retreat to the green oasis of the 500-year-old Yuyuan Garden; meet local school kids at the Children's Palace after-school program; and gain new appreciation for Chinese art at the magnificent new Shanghai Museum. Also included in today's agenda is Nanjing Road, the best-known shopping street in China.
Enjoy the fantastic Acrobatic Show following dinner at local restaurant.

Day 03 Shanghai / Hangzhou (B, L, D)
Check out and transfer to Shanghai Railway Station. Depart Shanghai by express train (2 hours) to Hangzhou, one of the most beautiful cities in southern China. Upon arrival, you are met by your local guide and transferred to local 4-star hotel for 3 nights with daily buffet breakfast. Balance of the day is spent walking around the West Lake to feel the beauty of Hangzhou.

Day 04 Hangzhou (B, L, D)
Full-day sightseeing: Hangzhou is famous for its beautiful lake and natural sceneries. Boat cruise on the West Lake, visit Six Harmony Pagoda and Lingyin Buddhist Temple, a 1,600-years old Buddhist Monastery, enjoy a cup of famous Dragon Well Green Tea in the village at Green Tea Plantation. Also visit the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum.

Day 05 Hangzhou / Shaoxing / Hangzhou (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, set off by motorcoach for the full-day excursion to Shaoxing, a small but famous town to the east of Hangzhou. Today's sightseeing includes the winery of Southern China rice wine, the former residence of Lu Xun, best known Chinese writer in the 1920 - 1930s, the South Lake, the birthplace of Chinese Communist Party plus other historical sights. Return to Hangzhou later today and back to your hotel.

Day 06 Hangzhou / Wuzhen / Suzhou (B, L, D)
Check out after breakfast and depart Hangzhou by motorcoach. Today you are going to visit Wuzhen, one of the best preserved water-towns in Southern China. You are to view the thousand-year old way of life still unchanged. Have lunch at one of the traditional restaurants there. Then proceed to to Suzhou, the Oriental Venice, famous for the bridges, Chinese gardens and the Grand Canal. Check into downtown hotel for overnight.

Day 07 Suzhou / Shanghai (B, L)
Full-day sightseeing: visit the Tiger Hill, a popular tourist destination and the landmark of Suzhou, followed by Master of Nets Garden or Garden of Humble Administrator. Proceed to visit the Suzhou Silk Museum, where you learn the long history of silk making in China. In late afternoon, return to Shanghai by express train (1 hour). Upon arival, you are met by your guide and transferred back to your hotel in Shanghai for overnight.

Day 08 Depart Shanghai for Home (B)
Check out and transfer to Shanghai Airport for your flight home or to your next destination. End of this memorable Eastern China experience.
